Auction Week Is Upon Us!!

We are finishing up the last little bits of the auction and have added some household items and furniture to it.

This is going to be a really fun auction and loads of unique and interesting items.  For those of you who are creative, artsy, and love to repurpose items, make sure you show up!!

If you are not buying the item for its intended purpose you might want to buy an item or two to make them into something else.

For you ladies, there are things here for you too!! I’ve been walking around for a few weeks thinking about what I could do with this or that.  How I create something really cool out of a piece.

We are going to move fast, but I will not let you bid against yourself, so if you have never been to an auction, you might consider trying this one out.  It’s one day and auctions are fun!! It’s free entertainment just watching the people and you might just join in.

Preview and Registration:

Friday, April 15, noon to 5 p.m.

Auction day preview and registration:

Auction:

Saturday, April 16

10 a.m. to 4 ish

Gate will open at 8 a.m. to begin parking everyone.

Please listen to the parking attendants so that we can park as many people on the property as possible.  Some will have to park on the road. Those will be only parking on one side of Whiskey Jack Road in order for traffic to flow properly and the neighbors to be able to use the road.

House keeping items:

Please do not bring your fury family members. This is a large walking auction and will require trailers and trucks to be loading items. We do not want any of our fury friends hurt.

Cash or credit is accepted.  We will take personal checks with prior authorization or a bank counter check.

You must register in order to bid.  Please come prepared to show your drivers license or ID. No one under 18 is allowed to bid.

There will be a 15% buyers premium and 6% tax is collected on the total.

A food vendor will be at the auction.  You are welcome to bring your own food if you’d like to.

Heavy, large items purchased may have arrangements made for pick up on another day.  Please check with the cashier to make arrangements.

When bidding, please allow a 20-30 minute window for the tickets to be brought from the auction ring to the cashier for sorting.  In other words, after your last bid and you want to check out it will be 20-30 minutes before you can do so.

Children are allowed at the auction, however, please keep them with you at all times.

Wear appropriate clothing for the weather.  Bring an umbrella and wear sturdy shoes or boots.  We will have barrels with fires going to keep warm and multiple tents for standing under, however, come prepared for our great North Idaho weather!

I can’t think of anything else, but I’m sure I will as soon as I log off! I’m excited to see you all.  Get ready for a fun day and I’ll see you all there,

AUCTION ADDRESS:

PREVIEW AND REGISTRATION: FRIDAY, APRIL 15, noon to 5

AUCTION AND REGISTRATION: APRIL 16, 9 to ?

What a great auction it is turning out to be.  Fabulous, interesting and unique items are being discovered everyday.

Just a few house keeping items on this auction:

We will not be listing items for sale on a pdf as we usually do.  This is a one day auction.  The upper part of the property will be done first.  This will include the shop, the pole barn structure at the top of the property and the items surrounding those two buildings. The lower part of the property with some of the cabs, hoods, a combine, misc., drip line, etc. will be after that.

The shop will be broken up in two formats.  The tables in the middle will be a “your choice” format.  The highest bidder will get to pick as many of the items they would like at the price they bid per item. So, when you are the winning bidder you get to choose as many items you want from that table at your bid price per piece. I will then ask if anyone else wants any item from that table at that bid price. I will then auction the items again and the process will go like that for three bids. On the fourth go around I will sell everything left on the table as one lot to the highest bidder.

The items around the room are individual lots.  Please be aware that this is an absolute auction (sold at any price it will bring) and that it is an “as is where is” auction.  Once you are the winning bidder you are responsible for that item and will be responsible for the payment of that item. No guarantees of any kind are made.  We will have staff on hand to help move your items to a “holding area” for their safety when it is possible to do so, but ultimately your item once won is your responsibility.

Some of the pictures are up and we are working hard to get the April 16th auction together.  Just a reminder the address of the sale will be listed the week of the sale.  Parking attendants will be on hand to help facilitate the parking. Please listen to them as we are trying to put a lot of cars and trucks, some with trailers, up close to the actual auction.  This is a walking auction. Wear your boots, bring an umbrella and watch the weather reports.  Our food vendor will be on hand for the day.

If you decide to bid on that vintage/antique truck cab and you did not bring the appropriate vehicle to haul it away, no worries, we will set up a day the next week for you to return to pick it up.

I know many of you like to bring your fury family members, however, this is an auction with cars and rigs with trailers everywhere and lots of people walking around.  PLEASE LEAVE YOUR FURY FAMILY MEMBERS AT HOME or in the truck cab with your windows cracked.  I do not want any animal or person hurt. We at JKern Auction Group have 8 fury family members of our own and would be devastated if your family member was hurt or killed at one of our sales.

Cash, credit or certified funds are accepted unless prior arrangements have been made. Keep checking back to the website, we will add pictures as we move along over the next couple of weeks. This is going to be fun!! It will be a beautiful day to attend this unique and exciting auction!

Hello everyone!  With spring upon us we are off and running to a very busy auction and estate sale season.  We hope you have rested during the winter and are ready for some really fabulous sales and auctions this year!!

Our first auction will be:

Auction:

Saturday, April 16

10 a.m. ….to when it is all sold!

Preview and registration:

Friday, April 15, noon to 5 p.m.

Address to be listed week of sale

(This sale is in the Sandpoint/Kootenai general area near town off Highway 200)

You must have an ID to register and be 18 years of age to obtain a bid card.

This is the estate of Dennis Hartmann, a member of the tractor club of Bonner County, Idaho.  There are multiple tractors, a combine, a 1929 Model A truck, antique and vintage truck cabs and front ends, farm and ranching items, homesteading supplies, tools, metal, wood and piles of misc. treasures and so much more!!  There are three buildings of items and all the stuff that is outside.

I’ll post some pictures to the website by March 28th to help you get an idea of what is to come.  We will keep loading pictures all the way up to the week of the auction.

We will have plenty of help from the tractor club onsite to help get things loaded after purchase.  You will be able to make arrangements for pickup of items too.  We would appreciate you planning on picking up all purchases by Monday, April 18th. Please plan on carpooling if possible, as we are expecting a crowd.  There will be parking attendants to help you park either up on the property or down along one side of the road. As always please respect the neighbors.

The tractor club is running a concession stand with donuts and coffee and lunch items available for purchase.  We love our four legged friends, however, please plan on leaving at the ranch or in your vehicle.  Crowds, noise and confusion is hard on some fur babies! As for children, they are certainly welcome, however, please have them stay with you at all times for their safety.

Come out and stay the day and enjoy a fun and exciting auction!!

Cash or Credit accepted, Checks upon approval.
