Estate Sales

JKern Auction Update!

Thank you to all our followers and wonderful friends that have loyally been to our sales and auctions over the last few years. Those of you who know me, know that I am meticulous and like things just so! Well, sometimes life likes to throw us a few curve balls and this year has seen many of them. Many of you are unaware of the difficulties we have had the last few weeks with my husbands mother. She had a frontal lobe aneurysm April 23. I had signed the Selle Road Estate sale and had put in my ads for the auction house to start on May 26…today. It wasn’t two days later that she collapsed. After seeing his face and knowing he needed me there with him I took almost two weeks off to help him face this challenge in Colorado.  I came home rushed to pull off the estate sale and just knew I could, “do it all” and get my first auction up without a problem! Well…I’m not as young as I used to be I guess and pulling all nighters doesn’t work so well anymore! So, with a heavy heart I am postponing the first auction and will have it up soon.  We are so close to being done, but not quite there. Tanner and I will work all week to get it done and be ready for all of you. Thank you for all understanding and all the encouragement we have received. You are all truly the best. Please keep checking back and letting your friends and family know we are almost ready. I’ll keep you posted. Thank you.

  1. Hope your mother-in-law will be on the mend soon. Try to take some time for yourself, even if it is only 30 minutes every day. Gypsy Girls will understand!

  2. Dear Julia,

That was such a nice letter you wrote to all of us. We all love you so much and the most important thing is that you were there for your dear husband and mother-in-law. Nothing else matters. It was great to see you and Tanner and your AWESOME crew last weekend. So fun to be there and to just be out!! Don’t worry a second about the auction. You do a great job at all you do. It will happen all in good time. Sincerely, Pam
